Danny and Loretta are planning their wedding for October of 2010 and this past weekend they celebrated their engagement at an party at the Hampton Inn in Gainesville. Here are two shots from our little mini E session before the party. Look for the full Engagement session to be done sometime this Fall.
And here is the fabulous Yvette, Danny’s stepmom who hosted the party. She is currently selling Avon as well as Essential Bodywear and needed some headshots for her site so we took a few pictures before the party kicked off.

UPDATE JUNE 25, 2009: 5 slots left!
This was literally the hottest session that I have ever had- even at 7 at night it was still 95 degrees with no breeze whatsoever in Gainesville. I met with Christi and her darling husband and daughter at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens to celebrate baby #2’s bump. Christi purchased my Belly to Baby package, so you will soon see their newest addition - a little girl named Riley- on this blog. We braved the heat and the bugs to capture this sunset session. Thanks to this beautiful family for being such great sports even though I know they had to be miserable, especially Christi who is about 3 weeks away from giving birth. Enjoy the sneak peek!

Announcing the next Rockstar Boudoir Marathon session!
I will be taking deposits for the sessions at this time. Please note that there are a limited amount of spaces and they will be available on a first come, first serve basis. These sessions will have your Little Black Books available just in time for the holiday season and make the perfect gift for that someone special.
Deposits may be paid by Paypal but the remaining balance (which will include sales tax) must be paid by check or cash on or before the day of your session.
There will be a posing assistant and pictures from previous sessions on hand for you to choose from during your consultation and session.
The stylist charges $20 for hair or makeup, or $35 for both. She does an amazing job in creating the look that we have discussed at your consultation.
Book samples are available on the day of the session, and you may upgrade your book at any time to the Black Book which features a magazine style layout and full page spreads of your images.
The next marathon session after this one is schedule for January 9th and you will receive your Little Black Books in time for Valentines Day.

JLS Photography will be traveling to SW Florida over the July 4th weekend. A Gift Card for a photo session or prints is the perfect gift to get for someone you love. With wedding season in full swing, a gift card for a Romance session or family photo would make the perfect gift. These cards do not expire, so the person that you give them to can choose to use them for the perfect photo for their Christmas card this year.
Gift Cards are available for both session fees, print credits, or packages.

Jessica and Sam were the first clients that I had book a wedding with me after I decided that JLS Photography would delve into the wedding side of photography. When you are just starting out in the wedding business, you need a few great couples to take a chance on you, and Jessica and Sam were willing to do that. Almost a year later we are quickly approaching their special day in August, and we finally got together for our much anticipated E- Session. I am posting an extra long sneak peek here because… well because I love these guys! We did a two part E- Session- part one was a more casual setting on the UF Campus and in the Gator Stadium. Part two took place in the beautiful downtown Alachua as the sun was setting. It was so much fun spending the evening with these two- they are just a lot of fun to be around and have some great ideas for pictures. Even better, they are willing to try anything! Jessica and Sam- I hope you love your sneak peek and I can’t wait to be a part of your wedding!
